COURSE OVERVIEW

Our Abrasive Wheels Training Course is to provide participants with the knowledge, skills and understanding of all aspects of working with abrasive wheels from the hazards and dangers to the correct mounting, setting and usage.


It is a half day course, delivered by a certified trainer, through a combination of classroom based tutorials and practical training.

Course Objective

On completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • List the legal requirements of working with Abrasive Wheels.
  • Choose the correct wheel or cutting disc for the required task.
  •  Correctly mount an Abrasive Wheel.

Course Requirements

In order to partake in this course, participants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be over the age of 16 years.
  • Have the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Have a good level of English.
