This Basic First Aid course is designed to develop the knowledge and skills of the participants to administer basic first aid in an emergency situation. It is a full day course, delivered by a certified trainer, through a combination of classroom based tutorials and practical training.
On completion of this course, participants will be able to:

In order to partake in this course, participants must meet the following requirements:
Must be over the age of 16 years.
Have a good level of English.
Introduction.
CPR/AED use for infants, children and adults
Choking for infants, children and adults
Strokes
Heart attacks
How to assess a patient and the scene
Breaks/Sprains/Strains and Dislocations
Burns
Bleeds
Positioning of a patient including Recovery Position
Concussion
Common Emergencies

Theory & Practical Assessment
On successful completion, participants will be awarded with a Basic First Aid Certification which is valid for 2 years.
