Cardiac First Responder Training
Overview
Our Cardiac First Responder training course will provide attendees with the knowledge and skills to respond and assist with a life threatening medical emergencies such as choking, cardiac arrest and stroke. Attendees will gain skills in the basic life support in CPR with knowledge in use of an AED/defibrillator.
Course Objective
On completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Assist with a life threatening medical emergencies.
Preform bBasic life support with CPR.
Use an AED/defibrillator.
Course Requirements
In order to partake in this course, participants must meet the following requirements:
Must be over the age of 16 years.
Have a good level of English.

Role and Responsibility of the Cardiac First Responder
Basic Emergency Care
Airway and Ventilation
Accessing and Use of an Automated External Defibrillator

Course Certification
On successful completion, participants will be awarded with a Certificate in Cardiac First Response which is valid for 2 years.
