The aim of this course is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to work safely at height and use of fall arrest equipment.
It is a half day course, delivered by a certified trainer, through a combination of classroom based tutorials and practical training.
Trainees can include harness training as part of our MEWPs Training Course if required.
On completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Outline main Irish working at height legislation.
Describe working conditions where fall protection is required.
Fit and remove a full body harness.
Inspect personal fall arrest system before and after use.
Inspect Ladders before and after use.
In order to partake in this course, participants must meet the following requirements:
Must have their own harness and lanyard for the course.
Have the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Have a good level of English.

Theory & Practical Assessment
On successful completion, participants will be awarded with a Certificate of Competence which is valid for 3 years.
