IPAF MEWPs Training

COURSE OVERVIEW

Our IPAF Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) Training Course is to provide participants with the essential knowledge and skills required to operate various types of MEWPs efficiently and safely.

IPAF MEWP Categories include:

  • Static Boom (1a)
  • Mobile Vertical (3a)
  • Mobile Boom (3b)

Course Objective

On completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify their responsibilities while operating a MEWP
  • Conduct pre-inspection checks on MEWPs
  • Operate an MEWP safely and correctly
  • Refuel / recharge a MEWP safely

Course Requirements

In order to partake in this course, participants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be medically fit to operate machinery.
  • Be over the age of 16.
  • Have the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. (i.e. Helmet, Safety Boots, Hi-Visibility Vest.)
  •  Have a good level of English.

  • Theory & Practical Assessment

Course Certification

  • On successful completion, participants will be awarded with a IPAF Certification which is valid for 5 years and is internationally recognised.
